13, Friday
Today is supposedly spooky for some reason. Magic, I suppose...
In local news, I have a new deskmate!
This tiny tree (shown here with the parent tree) now sits on the corner of my desk. It seems to be doing pretty well so far. And since I can see it all the time, it's more likely not to thirst to death.
As far as stories go, it's a bit thin, so here's a nifty sunset for you...
Ah, sunsets, my bread and butter. Ignore all superstitions and have yourself a great day!

Snow!
Snow can lead to a multitude of possibilities in photography.
Of course, I'd have to throw a cattle picture in... I call it: Steers In Snow. (Featuring Silage Truck)
One could almost dub Owyhee County the Land of Power Poles. They're everywhere, and a person can scarcely take a picture without getting at least one in there. I used to despair over this fact (okay, maybe not "despair") but now I've embraced them. (they're slivery) When I zoom in it squishes them up together, giving a nifty effect of some sort.
It doesn't last long here. Snow, that is. By evening it remained only in places of significant perpetual shadow. This morning it was reinforced with a bit of frost, but I would be surprised if any lasted through the week. At the very least the snow gave me enough inspiration to put up a post. With three pictures too!
Enjoy your Wednesday! (Or don't... It's up to you really.)

Try, Try Again
While I don't really have the right kind of camera for doing it, that doesn't stop me from taking pictures of the moon and stars. Generally the come out pretty blurry, other times, they're okay...
The fact that it comes out the way it does makes me like it a bit more. It's about trying to make due, which speaks to me. And if your own photos don't speak to you, there's a problem.
Have a great day!

Puffy Clouds
It's been raining out and about, so I've been hiding so as not to melt. In this vein, here are some puffy clouds, laden with rain...
Keep dry folks!
